G2 Throttle Tube - configurable - Kawasaki KX 250 / KX 450 older
Want more control through the turns, a quicker throttle response or a smoother, more progressive feel? The G2 Throttle System lets you choose the throttle response to suit your riding and conditions.
G2 throttles are used by Factory Yamaha teams across Supercross, GNCC and MotoAmerica Road Racing, combining a precision throttle tube with interchangeable cams so you can easily change the throttle ratio.
1. Select your throttle tube
Start with the G2 HYK tube (GE HYK-TUBE). Delrin self lubricating bushings are pressed into each end of the tube, eliminating aluminium to aluminium contact and helping prevent the galling that can occur with conventional aluminium throttle tubes.
2. Choose your cam or cams
Choose the throttle response that suits you. Go quicker for a more immediate response, choose a control cam for smoother power delivery or select a stock ratio cam to retain the original (but improved!) OEM throttle feel.
You can purchase one cam or build a selection of different ratios, allowing you to change the throttle response to suit different riding conditions.
3. Choose your housing or use the original
The G2 HYK-TUBE and cams can be used with your standard throttle housing, so there is no need to purchase a housing if you don't want to. Alternatively, upgrade to a G2 CNC machined throttle housing, manufactured from aircraft grade 6061 T6 aluminium with a polished anodised finish. G2's design provides greater strength than the standard housing and can be installed in minutes.
Available housing colours: Silver (GE 55-200), Black (GE 55-210), Blue (GE 55-220) or Red (GE 55-230)
